FUSION PLATFORM: dance and technology

The Fusion Platform: dance and technology application was launched in April 2021 in Brazil, conceived by Pernambuco, choreographer, dance researcher and educator Adriana Carneiro and developed by professor Jáder Abreu, after an artistic research process and tests to optimize the prototype , started during social isolation in August 2020. Due to the versatility and innovative character of the software, the idea attracted artists, teachers and dance researchers from several Brazilian states such as Goiás, Bahia, Paraíba, São Paulo and the Federal District. Among several, five professionals from the sector were selected for a second phase of testing, generating new perspectives for expanding the applicability of the platform, to offer various projects, such as exhibitions, virtual artistic residencies, workshops, workshops, debates, experiments and academic research and artistic.

Adriana  RAM

 

Choreographer, dancer, teacher and researcher. Training in modern dance and dance pedagogy at the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien in Vienna/Austria. Graduated in Portuguese and English at UNICAP and specialized in German at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena in Germany. Writes chronicles, poetry, short stories and essays. Since 2009, explores the fusion of dance and technology. In 2020, he conceived the Fusion software platform in partnership with developer Jáder Anderson. And he received the Klauss Vianna 2013 Funarte Dance Award for his solo Mundo ao Redor. 

Jáder Abreu

 

Professor e pesquisador do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciências e Tecnologia do Piauí e doutorando em Ciências  da Computação pelo Centro de Informática da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). Tem mais de 5 anos de experiência no mercado de software, sendo desenvolvedor de sistemas em java para planos de saúde na INFOWAY-PI de 2010 a 2013 e líder de projeto na Pigang IT no Porto Digital do Recife de 2013 a 2014.  Desde 2018 faz parte do UX2R pesquisando linguagem de Domínio Específico (DSL) para Reconhecimento de Gestos voltado à Interação Natural e Realidades Estendidas (Realidade Virtual, Aumentada e Mista). Pesquisa principalmente nas áreas de interatividade e jogos aplicados à educação.
